Kristin Myers<\/h2>\n

Northwell Health is proud to announce that Kristin Myers has joined the health system as its first-ever executive vice president and chief digital officer. Ms. Myers will be leading and transforming Northwell\u2019s digital services to improve patient care.<\/p>\n

Background<\/h2>\n

Myers comes to Northwell from Mount Sinai Health System, where she served as executive vice president, chief digital and information officer, and dean for digital and information technology. She has extensive experience driving organizational change, adopting cutting-edge technologies, enabling digital transformation, modernizing and streamlining the technology landscape, and much more.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so excited to be joining the team at Northwell Health,\u201d Kristen Myers said. \u201cThe focus on patients at Northwell, and the health system\u2019s commitment to technology and innovation, really make it stand out. We\u2019re going to use technology to improve the experience and change the way care is delivered to our patients.\u201d<\/p>\n

During her career, Ms. Myers has earned many accolades for her work, including recognition by Crain\u2019s New York Business\u2019 2023 Notable Health Care Leaders, Becker\u2019s Hospital Review\u2019s Hospital and Health System CIOs to Know 2023, Becker\u2019s Hospital Review\u2019s 35 Hospital and Health System Chief Digital Officers to Know 2023, and as a nominee of the 2022 New York CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards. She holds an Executive Master of Public Health from Columbia University and an Executive Chief Information Security Officer certification from Carnegie Mellon.<\/p>\n

As the chief digital officer, Ms. Myers will be driving Northwell\u2019s digital transformation. The health system will be using technology to change the way the patient experience is designed and also to streamline systems that team members use every day.<\/p>\n

As part of the health system\u2019s ongoing digital transformation, Northwell<\/a> announced that it selected Epic, the industry-leading electronic health record (EHR) to ensure a more seamless patient experience, including one patient record across all Northwell venues of care. Northwell is also utilizing Google Cloud to uncover data insights to create a more personalized patient experience.<\/p>\n
