Deerfield Management named Frank Nestle partner and CEO of Deerfield Discovery and Development (3DC), succeeding Michael Foley, who will become CEO of Excelsior Sciences, a Deerfield portfolio company. Nestle was most recently global head of research and CSO at Sanofi (Euronext:SAN; NASDAQ:SNY).
EVP and CFO Anat Ashkenazi is leaving Eli Lilly and Co. (NYSE:LLY) to become CFO and SVP of Google and Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG), effective July 31. Ashkenazi held roles for 23 years at the company, becoming CFO in 2021. A search for her successor is ongoing. …
