Flagship Pioneering-backed Valo Health Inc. and Apriori Bio Inc. named CEOs, both of whom also become CEO-partner at the VC. Brian Alexander joined Valo, where he succeeds interim CEO Graeme Bell, and Craig Williams was promoted to CEO from his positions as Flagship operating partner and Apriori president. Alexander was SVP for R&D at Genentech Inc. Apriori aims to end the viral variant chasing that has prevented vaccine and therapeutic developers from keeping pace with evolving pathogenic threats; Valo is using AI to discover and develop therapeutics.
