Nanoreceptors take down mutant p53 – Nature Reviews Cancer

As mutant gain-of-function p53 is commonly found in human cancers, targeting it for degradation is an attractive therapeutic strategy. Owing to the lack of a mutant p53-selective autophagic receptor, Huang, Cao, Qian et al. developed and validated the use of multifunctional biomimetic nanoreceptors (NRs) that can bind to mutant p53 and promote its degradation.
