Moderna Inc. (NASDAQ:MRNA) disclosed in its 3Q24 earnings that CEO Stéphane Bancel was handing off responsibility for the company’s commercial organization to President Stephen Hoge, who is already responsible for medical affairs and R&D strategy. Bancel had taken over sales and marketing last December when Arpa Garay stepped down. Chief Human Resources Officer Tracey Franklin will see her role expand to chief people and digital technology officer, while SVP Research & Early Development Rose Loughlin is being promoted to EVP of research, and Jacqueline Miller is being promoted to CMO from SVP, therapeutic area head for infectious diseases. Loughlin and Miller will join Moderna’s executive committee.
