The Transplantation Society (TTS) and the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) referral for kidney transplantation working group is conducting a survey to examine global patterns in referral of advanced chronic kidney disease patients (pre-dialysis or on-dialysis) for kidney transplantation.
The survey aims to compare referral practices across countries and identify barriers to timely referral and the possible strategies to overcome them. This study is funded internally by the primary investigator and has been approved by the McGill University Health Center Research Ethics Board.
