Release of new version expected soon from Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party

The Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party is crafting a revised version of the Biosecure Act and has tentative plans to release it as soon as Friday, sources close to the committee told BioCentury.
Changes to the bill that were presented to committee members Wednesday include expanding the bill to make it clear that it includes reimbursement and contracts by federal agencies such as CMS, the Veterans Administration (VA) and NIH, as well as provisions grandfathering existing contracts with Chinese biotech companies. …
